Asian Soup with Shrimp and Shitake

I make a lot of soups like this one, but each one comes out a bit different. The ingredients for this one were rather typical for Asian soups, including shrimp, egg (not marinated, just a regular one 馃檪), shitake and ramen noodles.

What was different, however, was the broth, as it was greatly enriched with ginger, chilli and garlic, making it somewhat spicy. I added a bit of cream to whiten it, as I've been using too much coconut milk lately.
