Baked Leek with Mustard and White Wine Sauce, with Nuts

Leek seems to be experiencing a period of prosperity, as there is a lot of it on Instagram, in various forms. It often even plays the main role.

'Who else but me' - I thought, bought 3 leeks, devised a plan and got to work. It turns out, it's not an easy task, because leek for soup is probably something different than leek on Instagram plates. My leek turned out to be hard, fibrous, even cutting it was hard work.

Convincing myself that it's supposed to be like this was even harder work. I'll try next time with salad leek, the one on trays. However, I do not regret the additions.

The sauce based on white wine and mustard was delicious and thick. From my sister, I had chive oil, green and fragrant. The nut topping also suited this set, it also brought some nutritional value.
