Cream of Cauliflower, Pear, and Gorgonzola

I found myself cooking on demand, and one of the dishes was this soup. A soup of cauliflower, pear, and gorgonzola. No big deal: broth, cook the cauliflower, bake the pears, add the cheese 馃
But as always, there's a catch - too many pears, and it will turn out too sweet, too much cheese (and gorgonzola is strong), and it will turn out cheesy.
Only cauliflower is safe, because making it too cauliflower-y is hard 馃檪 The whole trick is to make all three things noticeable. I managed, but just barely. On the other hand, I did take a nice picture, and there's thyme, and pink pepper.
