Croissants

Croissants

Well, pay attention, because the jokes are over. I baked croissants, from my own half-French dough. Yes, I found out myself that classic French dough doesn't contain yeast, doesn't rise, and at most you can make a Napoleon cake top from it, but that's not what life is about 馃檪 It wasn't difficult, you do indeed have to frequently do something with this dough (cool it, roll it out, fold it, and cool it again many times) but it's not ungrateful and even if it doesn't turn out perfectly, in the end, the croissants came out great.

Oh, a small recommendation - I watched a video on how to make French dough, the whole thing, and I don't like video tutorials, so I recommend it even more: https://www. youtube. com/watch? v=tmsgK14DQNQ This lady: a) doesn't show off, doesn't squeal with delight, doesn't smack her lips about how delicious everything is b) works in a normal kitchen, with normal tools c) speaks on the subject and does the job, if I hadn't dusted off that flour from the top, it really wouldn't have worked out.
