Empanadas with Lentils

Empanadas (I think that's what they're called) with lentils, or baked pierogi. They make a great snack, for example, you could pack them in a school lunchbox for your child to show off to their friends, not eat, and bring back home.

The dough is yeast-based, so it's risen and quite dry. I recommend serving them with sauces, like garlic sauce for instance. Of course, as with anything yeast-based, they're best when fresh.
