Harissa Chicken with Roasted Leeks on Purple Puree

Harissa Chicken with Roasted Leeks on Purple Puree

This is my last adventure with truffle potatoes for now, as I only had 2kg of them. But certainly not the last adventure with leeks, which I've been trying to tame for some time now.

My main problem with leeks is that when I want to prepare them whole, they either fall apart and can't be transferred to the plate, or they're too compact, which makes them difficult to eat 馃檪

Here, something in between happened, the leek was special, young, and it was thoroughly fried (because black on leeks is the thing). It could be cut and it could be eaten, which was already an achievement, but far from ideal. Harissa chicken, on the other hand, is a simple matter, oil, spices, and into the oven!
