Lazy Dumplings, with Pomegranate and Vanilla Sauce

I tend to call 'lazy dumplings' more dumplings than pierogi, because they don't have any filling. It's like calling gnocchi 'potato pierogi', it doesn't make sense...

This is usually a 'quick' dish, but here I put a little more effort into it, namely, I got a pomegranate, leaves (probably) of sage, which in my opinion goes with everything, and vanilla sauce! The philosophy of the sauce is such that we add vanillin sugar to the cream and heat it a little so that it mixes. We don't cook it too much, because the cream can behave differently.
