Mafaldine - Homemade Pasta

I wanted to make mafaldine because I've really taken a liking to this pasta recently. I have a ravioli cutter, I have a pasta machine, what could possibly go wrong?
Well, it turns out, quite a bit 馃
It appears that mafaldine is not just about the wavy edges. Those edges should protrude so much, in 3D, up and down, not just be wavy.

Unfortunately, we can't achieve that with a ravioli cutter. Nevertheless, homemade pasta always stands its ground, although probably under a different name.
