I'm probably doing something against the grain (as I tend to do), but the sushi usually disappears quickly anyway. Here's a little gimmick - these purple colors are made by pickled beetroot (homemade! ), which goes really well with rice vinegar. Tips:

1.

Seaweed soaks up quite quickly and becomes rubbery / hard to chew. It's not too bothersome, but still. 2. I've given sushi to someone to take home many times - it's better to give the whole roll to cut, rather than cutting into pieces and covering with foil - less chance it will dry out. Unless, of course, someone wants to show off that they're carrying sushi, then not 馃槑
