The Omelette that Turned into a Casserole

Sometimes things take an unexpected turn. I came up with the idea of making an omelette, but a rich one, sweet and salty, with bananas and apples. As one might expect, the omelette refused to cooperate when I tried to flip it. The pan did too.
However, all was not lost, and people were still hungry. So, a sweet and salty casserole was born, leaning more towards the sweet side, as it was drenched in maple syrup. All in all, it turned out better than the omelette, it looked prettier, and tasted buttery-eggy-fruity. I suspect that if I had planned it, it wouldn't have been as good.
